Play a Game of Tennis at Bob White Park in King of Prussia
January 26, 2016 | klein
According to one local tennis player, Bob White Park is a convenient option for a quick game. Not only is it located just a minute off of I-76, but also it attracts a relatively laid-back crowd. Unlike other local courts, these tennis courts generally draw serious players—not children riding their bikes. You don't need to reserve the courts, and usually you'll find at least one or two courts open when you come. A Yelp reviewer notes that the regulars at Bob White Park are usually up for a game of doubles if you ask.
Elsewhere in the 21-acre park, which sits in the Croton Woods, other athletes will find space to play. Bob White Park also boasts a field for baseball or softball and a basketball court. According to the same Yelp reviewer, the basketball court is used as often for street hockey as it is for basketball. Bob White Park has a pavilion and a pond, as well, if you just want to come for a picnic or some fresh air.
